Encouraging curious minds at camp

Summer is approaching, and TinkerTech Camps offers the perfect opportunity for students to dive into STEM through hands-on, project-based learning.

TinkerTech Summer Camps provide:

  • Small class sizes with a typical teacher to student ratio of 1:8

  • A program that welcomes beginners and experienced tinkerers alike

  • Experienced instructors, many of whom teach year-round in our after-school enrichment program

  • A good mix of hands-on tinkering projects, programming and group challenges

  • A competitively priced camp with scholarships for ages 11-16

Unlike traditional classrooms, our camps immerse students in real-world applications where they build robots, create working machines, and use digital tools to make games, movies and more. These hands-on projects create meaningful learning experiences that last well beyond summer.

While campers gain valuable experience with coding, engineering, and scientific concepts, they develop crucial soft skills like critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and resilience. Our experienced instructors help students build confidence in their abilities - since we started out in 2014, we’ve seen year-on-year how campers transform from tentative participants to enthusiastic creators as they discover their capabilities in this small group nurturing environment.
